JOB DESCRIPTION:

We are looking for 4 GL Accountants for a 6-month project in the General Ledger area. The role is responsible for posting and maintaining general ledger entries, preparing inputs for GL processes, and producing financial reports and analyses.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Prepare and post general ledger (GL) entries
  • Prepare input data for GL processes
  • Prepare financial reports and statutory/management financial statements
  • Manage P&L and balance sheet accounts
  • Perform ad hoc analyses (e.g., reconciliations, customer account and GL account analysis)
  • Prepare internal reports for the finance team

 

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar role (accounting, finance, R2R, GL)
  • Good English and advanced (spoken and written) in one of the following: German, French, Italian, Spanish or Dutch
  • Strong focus on achieving agreed objectives
  • Problem-solving skills and ability to independently plan and manage own work
  • Ability to communicate with various stakeholders (finance and nonfinance)
  • Consistent performance and reliability
