For our Client we are looking for an experienced Java Developer.

 

📍 Location: Kraków, hybrid work model – 2 days per week in the office, 3 days remote

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services and APIs using Java 17 and Spring Boot
• Implement and optimize database solutions using PostgreSQL
• Deploy, monitor, and manage applications on Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
• Collaborate with DevOps teams to build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins
• Utilize Git for version control and collaborate with team members on code reviews and branching strategies
• Ensure application performance, scalability, and security through best practices and testing
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in a timely manner
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver high-quality solutions
  
  

Requirements:

• 3+ years of commercial experience in similar position
• Experience with Java 17 and object-oriented programming principle
• Proficiency in building microservices and RESTful APIs using Spring Boot
• Hands-on experience with PostgreSQL for database design, queries, and optimization
• Familiarity with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services such as Compute Engine, Cloud Storage, and Cloud SQL
• Experience with CI/CD tools, particularly Jenkins
• Proficient in using Git for version control and collaboration
• Solid understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Fluent English
