Hardware Architect Engineer
On behalf of our client a global company delivering advanced solutions for the automotive sector – we are currently looking for a Hardware Architect Engineer.
In this role, you will take ownership of managing customer hardware requirements and translating them into detailed product specifications, system architecture, and validation activities. You will contribute to the development of cutting-edge power electronics solutions, such as inverters, control units, and on-board chargers used in electric and hybrid vehicles. You will join a diverse, cross-functional team working on next-generation technologies for the mass e-mobility market.
Key responsibilities:

Evaluate and interpret stakeholder requirements, collaborating closely with both customers and internal teams

Break down high-level requirements into system architecture elements, interfaces, and tasks for hardware, mechanical, validation, and manufacturing teams

Create and maintain product definition documentation, including change management activities

Define requirements for embedded test software

Develop functional test strategies, including test setups and bench configurations

Execute hardware functional testing and support validation activities (environmental and EMC)

Provide technical guidance to manufacturing teams during production changes

Support customer validation and testing programs
-
Contribute to root cause analysis and problem-solving initiatives
Requirements:

Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or a related field

At least 5 years of experience in automotive electronics or e-mobility hardware

Strong understanding of embedded hardware systems

Experience with structured problem-solving approaches

Excellent communication skills

Knowledge of AIAG/VDA FMEA and ISO 26262 is an advantage

Ability to combine a system-level perspective with attention to detail

Fluency in English
