Chinese Translator / Interpreter

For our Client an international company specializing in the production and commercialization of advanced lithium-ion battery components used in electric vehicles and energy storage systems  we are currently seeking an experienced Chinese Translator / Interpreter. The Company is executing a strategic project involving the modernization and operational launch of a large production facility in Poland, transforming it into a state-of-the-art, technologically advanced manufacturing site.

Responsibilities

• Provide oral interpretation (consecutive and/or simultaneous) Chinese ↔ Polish or Chinese ↔ English during meetings, operational discussions, and technical conversations.

• Translate written materials including documents, email correspondence, procedures, reports, and other relevant content.

• Support effective communication between management, engineers, and production teams.

• Ensure linguistic accuracy and cultural appropriateness of all translations and interpretations.

• Assist Chinese employees and management during on-site visits.

• Maintain strict confidentiality of all company information.

• Support coordination tasks requiring language assistance.

Requirements

• Fluency in Chinese (Mandarin) and Polish or English, both spoken and written.

• Proven experience as a translator or interpreter; experience in a business or industrial environment is an asset.

• Ability to translate technical terminology related to manufacturing, engineering, and operations.

• Strong communication skills and the ability to act as an effective bridge between multicultural teams.

• Availability to work on-site in Konin on a full-time basis.

• High level of professionalism, reliability, and attention to detail.

Nice to have

• Experience in manufacturing, engineering, automotive, or industrial sectors.

• Knowledge of Polish business culture and familiarity with Chinese workplace practices.

• Availability for occasional overtime or support during visits from international stakeholders.
